Your tasks will cover:
- Various simulations of leading automotive suppliers’ products (mechanical, thermal, durability, optimisation, impact);
- Running simulation-based parameter analysis;
- 3D modelling, concept design;
- Interpretation of simulation results and making recommendations to the product development team;
- Developing simulation methods and tools;
- FEM programming;
- Keeping contact with customers (OEM and Tier 1/2 customers) and suppliers;
- Performing analytical strength calculations;
- Involvement in the product validation process;
- Creating activity-related documentation, change management.
Job requirements:
- Degree in mechanical engineering (applied mechanics, product development, mechatronics preferred);
- 3-4 years relevant experience in simulation;
- Advanced knowledge of a finite element solver (e.g. Ansys, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, HyperWorks);
- Experience in modelling, computation and validation;
- Fluent English, written and spoken;
- Complex and analytical mindset.
