Simulation Engineer (FEM)

Your tasks will cover:

  • Various simulations of leading automotive suppliers’ products (mechanical, thermal, durability, optimisation, impact);
  • Running simulation-based parameter analysis;
  • 3D modelling, concept design;
  • Interpretation of simulation results and making recommendations to the product development team;
  • Developing simulation methods and tools;
  • FEM programming;
  • Keeping contact with customers (OEM and Tier 1/2 customers) and suppliers;
  • Performing analytical strength calculations;
  • Involvement in the product validation process;
  • Creating activity-related documentation, change management.

Job requirements:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering (applied mechanics, product development, mechatronics preferred);
  • 3-4 years relevant experience in simulation;
  • Advanced knowledge of a finite element solver (e.g. Ansys, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, HyperWorks);
  • Experience in modelling, computation and validation;
  • Fluent English, written and spoken;
  • Complex and analytical mindset.
