CFD Simulation Engineer

Your duties include:

  • various CFD simulation projects and tasks for different industrial players (automotive, aerospace, energy, chemicals, etc.);
  • running simulation-based parameter analysis;
  • 2D and 3D CFD modelling (Ansys SpaceClaim, Ansys meshers (Fluent Mesher, Ansys Mesher, TurboGrid);
  • interpretation of simulation results and making recommendations to the product development team;
  • developing simulation methods and tools;
  • programming process automation scripts (Python, Ansys Fluent UDF, Perl);
  • keeping contact with customers (OEM and Tier 1/2 customers) and suppliers;
  • involvement in the product validation process;
  • creating activity-related documentation, change management.

Job requirements:

  • MsC degree in mechanical or aerospace/automotive engineering;
  • 2-4 years relevant experience in CFD simulation;
  • advanced knowledge of a CFD software (e.g. Ansys Fluent, Ansys CFX, StarCCM+, FloEFD, openFoam);
  • experience in modelling, computation and validation;
  • fluent English, written and spoken;
  • complex and analytical mindset;
  • practical programming skills are an advantage (e.g. Python, Perl, C#, C++).
